To me, essences are at the core of Korean skincare - they are are deeply hydrating, brightening and plumping products that make your skin glow!

An essence is used after a toner, (which resets your skin after cleansing), to deliver a burst of hydration into your skin, and prepare it to better receive the benefits of the products that follow - like serums and moisturizers. 

Essences will help protect your skin against the elements, like cold, dry and windy weather - by providing deep hydration. Pair them with a protecting moisturizer to lock in the benefits.
