My best selling product! This essence contains one single ingredient, Artemesia, or Mugwort, an ancient herb known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been double fermented to better penetrate deep into skin resulting in better hydration. An essence is the "secret sauce" of your skincare routine. Cleansing and toning prepare your skin to receive the benefits of an essence, and everything that goes on after is more effectively absorbed. Some essences cost over $200. Why, I ask, when there’s MISSHA? This product is often copied, but the original is better.

100% Artemesia (Mugwort) extract, which has been double fermented in both a cold and warm environment.

For me, essences work best if I pour a small amount onto the palms of my hands and then pat over my entire face, avoiding the eye area. Or you can pour a small amount onto a cotton pad and swipe over the face. You can use as many layers as you want, as the skin will absorb the liquid until fully hydrated. The goal is to ensure the essence is entirely absorbed.
