I am passionate about Korean skincare.

Why? Because it transformed my skin!

I had been constantly searching for the right products for my sensitive skin, but was constantly disappointed. Or I would get upsold on a skincare routine that did not deliver results and even damaged my skin.

All that changed when, five years ago, I tried Korean skincare products for the first time.

My skin instantly improved. I mean instantly. No more redness, inflammation or sensitivity! My skin was more radiant. It was healthy.

I could not believe how beautiful the products were to use, and how pampering a layered Korean skincare routine was - to relax and centre me at the beginning and end of my day.  I started curating routines for my friends, who were so grateful for an effective skincare routine.

WHY KOREAN SKINCARE?

So what was it about Korean skincare that made my skin so much better?

First, the ingredients. Korean skincare starts with natural, plant-based ingredients that help restore skin's natural balance and replenish hydration. Ingredients like fermented grains, ginseng, green tea, lotus flowers and plant-based oils that have been used for hundreds of years.

Second, the innovative formulations. Korean brands set almost every skincare trend out there - think hybrid bb creams, hydrating essences and nourishing sunscreens, and use of probiotics. So much of skincare produced in western countries are based on Korean formulations but add a big price tag and include ingredients and additives your skin doesn't need. 

And third, it works! All of a sudden I was getting so many compliments on my skin, and friends wanted to know what I was using! Soon I began developing routines for my besties, my husband, and other family members. Even my brother-in-law!

And finally, Korean skincare is reasonably priced. I soon realized I was on to something - everyone who tried the products loved them and no one could believe the great price point. That's because Korean brands dont add expensive fillers and keep their packaging to a minimum.

For many, skincare can be daunting - trying to find products that work for you, wading through information and not really knowing what is hype and what is important.
