Collection: Water-based Cleansers

Water-based cleansers are ideal to use as a second cleansing step at the end of the day, right after an oil-based cleanser, to ensure skin is thoroughly clean.

They are also good for a morning cleanse, although there is a school of thought that says we don't need to cleanse in the morning - it is a personal choice. 

Look for cleansers that reveal their pH level, which measures the acidity level of water. Skin has a protective layer or “acid mantle” in the pH range of 5.5 - 6, or slightly acidic.

Cleansers in this pH range are not really foamy, so beware of cleansers that make a lot of lather as they can strip your skin.
