COSRX has recently started offering products with retinol, a Vitamin A derivative that has been clinically proven to reduce the signs of aging but can be harsh on skin. This cream contains a low percentage of retinol (0.1%), so it is good for beginners. It also contains panthenol (Vitamin B5), tocerpherol (Vitamin E) and other emollients to moisturize and soothe skin, thereby reducing irritation. Why use retinol if it has harsh side effects? Because it works. The best way to see if retinol is right for you is to start with a gentle cream like this one.
Once a tolerance has been built up, stronger retinol products can be used, such as COSRX The 0.5% Retinol Serum.

After cleansing, toning and essence steps, apply a few small dabs onto face and gently pat in.
Use a few times a week at first, to build tolerance.
Do not use with products that include Vitamin C or AHA/BHA acids.
