This is a fairly strong retinol serum, suited for someone who wants to up their game. A beginner retinol is usually around 0.1%, while this one clocks in at 0.3%. This formulation helps tighten the look of pores, and smooth out wrinkles/fine lines. Niacinamide has been addes to help brighten skin and lighten pigmentation. Five types of peptides have been added to help moisturize and plump skin, as well as centella asiatica, which is soothing and helps counter balance the potentiallyh harsh effects of retinol on skin.

How to Use

After cleansing toning/essence steps, pply a pea sized amount to skin - dabbing on forehead, cheeks and chin. Pat in to aid absorption. Retinol can be harsh on skin, so it is best to patch test first. It is also helpful to use a hydrating toner/essence beforehand, followed by a emollient-rich moisturizer afterwards, to guard against redness and irritation. Start once a week and work up from there. Do not combine with Vitamin C, AHA/BHA. Ideal for night use. If using in the day, be sure to apply sunscreen afterwards as retinol increases skin's susceptibility to the UVA/UVB rays.
