This is a chemical exfoliator, meaning it contains acids (in this case Alpha Hydroxy Acids - lactic and glycolic) which dissolve dead skin cells to reveal brighter skin beneath. It contains reservatol, a antioxidant derived from fermented red wine, which fights free radicals and reduces the look of age/sun spots and wrinkles. Without exfoliation, skin becomes dull and pores get blocked - think of grime on a window. It is a treat to use these pre-soaked pads, which leave your face feeling toned, smooth and clear. This product is so good that my whole family uses it. Plus it smells like grape candy!

After toning, remove one pad from the jar, insert fingers into the pad pocket and swipe over skin, avoiding the eye area. One side of the pad has a grainy texture to work at the surface level and the other side is smooth, to help the liquid penetrate the skin.
