There are a lot of hyaluronic acid serums on the market and many are good. I use this one because it contains three types of hyaluronic acid, has a pared-back formulation, and is reasonably priced at $27. Even though hyaluronic acid is having a moment, you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars for a good product! Hyaluronic acid binds up to 1,000 times its own weight in water to help retain moisture. The aging process reduces the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid in our body, so applying it back onto skin can reduce dryness, wrinkles, redness, and dullness. It's versatile - you can apply a few drops alone, layer it with other serums or add it to a moisturizer. It also includes vitamin B5, which has moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties and allantoin which calms and soothes skin. No matter how you use it, it is an excellent staple for an effective skincare routine. 

After the essence step, apply several drops to the skin and massage in until fully absorbed. Hyaluronic Acid tends to evaporate, so always follow up with a moisturizer to lock in its goodness.
